Fabricator / Welder- The Role:
An exciting position has become available for a full-time Fabricator / Welder, based in Hartlebury, Worcestershire.
Tasks and responsibilities.
* Assemble and fabricate metal components based on drawings and specifications,
* Perform basic mathematical calculations to ensure accurate measurements and dimensions,
* Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces,
* Operate welding equipment to join metal parts together using various welding techniques (e.g., MIG & TIG),
* Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet the required specifications,
* Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Fabricator / Welder - Skills/Qualifications:
The Ideal Candidate will have a flexible attitude to work, along with the ability to work unsupervised.
* Proven experience as a fabricator/welder or similar role,
* Proficient in sheet metal fabrication techniques,
* Strong welding skills, including the ability to weld various types of metals,
* Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in metal fabrication,
* Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and make adjustments as needed,
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications,
* Good understanding of safety procedures and practices in a manufacturing environment.
