We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tarmac Roller Operator/Rake Hand to work with a well-established Civil Engineering company specialising in ground and base works primarily within the sports industry.
Role:
This is an active role where you will have numerous tasks to carry out daily which may be physical. Experience is also a key part as you will be expected to be able to:-
• Operate in accordance with risk assessments and carry out your own risk assessments where applicable.
• Regularly check and inspect allocated vehicle/plant in order to ensure its reliability and good appearance.
• Co-operate with Groundworkers and banks men as required.
• Maintain professional competences e.g., CPCS
The ideal candidate will be.
• Driven
• Have a strong work ethic
• A good communicator
• A team player
• Hold a valid CPCS and CSCS Card
• Flexible with times and days
• Prepared to work away from home
In return we offer good rates of pay, transport, accommodation plus nights out money when appropriate and the opportunity to progress.
We also guarantee a minimum of 40 hours a week.
A permanent contract will be offered after a probation period.
