We are seeking an experienced Hand Polisher to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in metal polishing, with the ability to deliver high-quality finishes on intricate components. This role is critical in ensuring that our products not only function perfectly but also meet the aesthetic standards that our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities:
Polishing: Expertly polish metal whistle components to a high sheen using a variety of polishing tools and techniques, ensuring each part meets our rigorous quality standards.
Quality Control: Perform detailed inspections of polished components to identify any defects or imperfections. Ensure that only parts meeting our strict criteria are approved for assembly.
Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain polishing tools and machinery in top condition, performing regular cleaning, adjustments, and minor repairs as necessary.
Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of polishing processes, recommending new techniques or equipment that could enhance efficiency or quality.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of materials and tools.
Documentation: Accurately document work performed, including the quantity of items polished and any issues encountered during the process.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other production team members to ensure seamless integration of polished components into the final product.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in metal polishing, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience with small, intricate parts is highly desirable.
