An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Fleet Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a Automotive Fleet Workshop an International Supply Chain and Logistics Company located in Dartford.
Join our client's Automotive Fleet Workshop an International Supply Chain and Logistics Company to maintain and keep their Fleet of unique vehicles on the road!
The diversity and size of our clients Fleet will mean you have an opportunity to expand, grow and develop your mechanical skills - help repair, maintain Light Vans, Tractor and Trailor units and their growing fuel alternative fleet.
If you are a Car Mechanic; our client will offer you training on how to repair HGV's too.
Typical Duties as a Vehicle Fleet Technician / Vehicle Mechanic include but are not limited to:
- Ensure our clients fleet remains in top condition by performing a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks on their iconic vehicles.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks, accurately log your work online, and manage inventory.
- Collaborate with your team of mechanics to meet maintenance goals efficiently, safely, and with high reliability.
Vehicle Fleet Technician / Vehicle Mechanic Requirements:
- Strong initiative, excellent planning skills, and a flexible, positive attitude.
- A City & Guilds qualification in vehicle mechanics (Level 2 or higher) or an equivalent certification is required.
- A full UK driving license is essential.
- While not required, a C1, 7.5-tonne license would be a valuable asset.
The salary of this Vehicle Fleet Technician role is up to £38,000 basic.
Hours of work in this Vehicle Fleet Technician role are 40 hours per week - earlies or lates (flexible).
