CNC Turner Setter/Operator
Bolton, immediate start available
Summary:
Our client is a global market leader in high quality lighting products and has been established for a number of years in their industry.
This role has arisen due to the departure of a long serving and valued Engineer. They are currently seeking a Skilled CNC Turner to aid the team in the manufacturing of machined components for use in lighting products.
Salary:
• Equivalent of £33,228 per year (38-hour, 4.5 day working week - equating to above £16.80 per hour)
Benefits:
• 4.5 day working week (typically 8-hour shifts) with and early finish on a Friday
• 33 days holiday per year (25 days plus statutory days)
• Company Pension and Sick Scheme (after successful probationary period)

• Variation to and an interesting work schedule
• Pleasant working environment with a supportive team

Role responsibilities:
• Time served experience in CNC Setting / Operation, and knowledge of on-machine programming
• Background in reading / understanding design specifications & knowledge of technical drawings
• Being a self-starter - working to deadlines, demonstrating efficiency, attention to detail, and maintaining and contributing to the improvement of housekeeping
• To comply with company policies, procedures and objectives
• Working to Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHES) procedures, company policies and objectives
• Good timekeeping skills, the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage your time efficiently
• Good communication skills and ability to work well as a team
Experience preferred in the use of Mazak and Mori Seiki (barfeed) Machineries; however, use of similar machines would be considered as training can be provided.
