The band 5 RN is required to: Provide a high standard of individualised care to patients, acting as a role model Supporting the NIC ,Senior Sister/Charge nurse in driving quality care provision forward Be responsible for standards of cleanliness in their own clinical area in partnership with the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse Provide clear clinical leadership to junior staff, supporting the Junior sister deputising for the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse in her/his absence
