Location: Haywards Heath
Position: Administration Assistant
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Hours: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm)

As the school continues to grow, they are seeking a proactive and organised Administration Assistant to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the school office, including answering phones, handling emails, and managing the reception desk.
  • Assist with student admissions, maintain accurate student records, and update databases.
  • Support the senior leadership team with diary management, meeting coordination, and preparing documents.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring efficient communication with parents, staff, and external agencies.
  • Assist with school events, trips, and other activities by providing logistical and administrative support.
  • Maintain a welcoming and friendly environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role (experience in an educational setting is an advantage but not essential).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with school management systems is a plus.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a professional approach to work.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
