Crynodeb
The department is willing to look at job plans which may fit with particular personal circumstances, always provided that the clinical needs of the service are met. As a basis the job will attract 9 Direct Clinical care PAs (with option for additional PAs for additional optional elective theatre work) and 1 SPA (Supporting Professional Activities) on average per week. The post-holder will be expected to contribute to the 1 in 8 full-shift rota. The rota template is compliant with the terms and conditions of the 2016 Junior Doctor Contract and WTD and has been carefully designed to maximise training opportunities for doctors whilst maintaining a safe and efficient service, with an even spread of long days and nights. The successful applicant will be 1 of the 8 doctors contributing to the full shift rota with a weekend frequency of 1:4 with 7- night shifts across an 8-week reference period and is prospectively covered for annual and study leave.
