What we are looking for:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking individual with excellent verbal communication skills and great attention to detail to join our team.
Working hours: 07:00 - 18:30, 4 days on / 4 days off
Main duties and responsibilities:
Undertake training to blow, trim, peel, bag and pack onions and other product as guided by your Line Manager and as per the Company Standard Operating Procedures
Report any issues with machinery, product quality or packaging issues to your Line Manager
Adhere to the rules and procedures for the process room and peeling room as laid down in the Quality Manual and Standard Operating Procedures
Follow all hygiene and dress codes for the factory
Work in a clean and tidy manner and operate a clean as you go policy
Assist management to meet and maintain the requirements of the BRC standard
Wear the correct protective clothing when entering the different areas of the factory
Understand and follow the sharp metal implements procedures
Ensure that the product that we pack for our customers is of the expected quality
The perfect candidate should have
Thorough and pay attention to detail
Ability to work well with others
Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
Flexible and open to change
Physical skills like movement, coordination and dexterity
Ability to work well with your hands
Excellent verbal communication skills
Carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device
