Summary

Responsible To: Social Care Manager
Base: Community working across North Monmouthshire, but must be willing to cover across Gwent.
The purpose of this role is to deliver a high standard of support and personal care to older people aged 50+, enabling their carers to have a break from their caring role and allowing both to remain living independently at home. We deliver a registered service in line with Social Care Wales requirements.
All support is tailored to meet the needs of the individual, whilst also promoting their wellbeing and dignity. You will be proactive but empathetic and will have a passion for supporting older people and be flexible to meet service needs.
You must hold a Full UK Driving Licence with appropriate business user insurance and be willing to use your own car for work purposes. The post holder will be required to undergo an Enhanced Criminal Record check before starting work.
