We are looking to expand our team with a dedicated Production Operative in Neath
Monday to Friday 06:00 - 15:00, £12 per hour
Role Overview:As a Production Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient production of gas cylinders at our facility. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and delivering the highest quality product in line with company standards. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate production machinery for the filling and testing of gas cylinders
- Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure products meet safety and quality standards
- Follow strict safety protocols, including operating in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Keep accurate records of production, inventory, and maintenance activities
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or similar environment is preferred, but not essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of quality and safety
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to take responsibility for your work
- Flexibility to work shifts or overtime as required
