This is a Fixed Term post for 4 months, working 6 hours per week.
A grade 7 research assistant is required to assist Professor Ian Walker and Dr Menna Price in leading this Welsh Government funded project, which will explore a novel Burner Alert System for Wood Burner Users in Swansea. This project will determine if a web-based burner alert system will reduce the use of wood burners in homes across Swansea and ultimately improve air quality. The research assistant will be engaged in data collection and analysis, and dissemination of findings.
Candidates will have a degree/MSc in an air quality related discipline and have experience of carrying out experimental research to a high standard. You will have experience of conducting research relating to air quality and wood burner use. You will be an effective team worker and have a track record in data collection. You will have a strong commitment to continuing professional development
