Job Opportunity: Experienced CNC Setter/Operator
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join our client’s team on a permanent basis. If you have a strong background in CNC operations and are familiar with Haas milling machines, this could be the perfect role for you.
Compulsory Skills:
• Experience with Haas milling machines.
• Proficient in reading and understanding G codes and M codes.
• Strong knowledge of feeds and speeds.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks.
Key Duties:
• Operate and maintain CNC machines to fabricate parts per technical specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Assemble and inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Effectively utilise hand tools and tooling for precise manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot machine issues using mechanical knowledge.
• Manage materials within the warehouse and ensure proper storage.
• Apply basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
Experience & Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of CNC machinery operations and programming.
• Strong ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
