Summary

Are you able to influence decision making and ensure that the Council meets the Armed Forces Covenant Duty?
This is a unique opportunity to work with the military, public, private and voluntary sector organisations, providing support, guidance and opportunities to this group. You will be guided by the Armed Forces Covenant and will act as the partnership lead across local, regional and national partnerships. You will work to promote the offer that is in place for veterans and serving members of the armed forces and will lead on identifying and developing new opportunities and providing advice and guidance.
You will be required to have:

NVQ level 4 or equivalent experience
Knowledge and/or experience of the challenges the armed forces community might face
Ability to build and maintain networks and work with a range of external agencies
Experience of partnership working and be able to communicate effectively

ESSENTAIL REQUIREMENTS

An understanding of the Armed Forces Covenant and Statutory Duties
Ability to monitor services and manage budgets
Ability to identify prioritise and implement service improvements
