We have a fantastic opportunity for Secure Mental Health Assistants to join our amazing team on a bank zero-hour contract currently. East Anglia Medical Care Ltd (EAMC), specialist Secure Mental Health patient transport supporting NHS and healthcare sectors nationwide.
The teams are responsible for the safe transportation, care, support and management of service users/patients diagnosed with mental health conditions, who may display challenging behaviour. It is a demanding yet very rewarding service.
We are looking for flexible, enthusiastic staff for a contract coming up. Currently there is no set shift pattern for this position this will be confirmed at a later date. The contract will be 7 days a week, day and night cover. We are looking for candidates who have a passion for helping others.
Purpose:
Safe transportation of service users detained under the Mental Health Act, maintaining a safe, caring, professional and efficient level of service at all times.
Reporting:
To Team Leaders
Roles & Responsibilities:
· To provide a professional and caring service for all patients whilst in the care of EAMC, ensuring that at all times patient safety remains paramount.
· To transport vulnerable service users as part of a team
· On-call shifts to be able to attend the office within one hour.
· To work to the values of the organization and display high standards of integrity and professionalism towards clients and colleagues.
Experience and Skills:
· Valid Driving License for the UK
· Age over 21
· Enhanced DBS
· Excellent communication skills
· Flexible and able to work as part of a team

£12.50 per hour
Aimed the wage’s part – per hour – EMEDs advert is £12.44 per hour for an ambulance care assistant – MH
