This is a temporary role, initially 2-3 months. Please do not apply if you are seeking a permanent position.
Basic DBS disclosure required for this role.
Key Requirements:
Level 4 qualification in Purchasing or a related field.
Proven ability to work innovatively and collaboratively with people at all levels inside and outside of the organisation.
Good organisation, problem solving and time management skills with the ability to be flexible and self-motivated.
Must be numerate with good attention to detail.
Experienced in digital processing and Microsoft applications and platforms. Some experience of finance processing preferrable.
The purpose of the role is to support the provision and purchasing of externally supplied and internally developed IT products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.
Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock.
Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.
Establishing professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers.
