We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base, delivering outstanding service, and contributing to the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities in domestic and international markets.
- Build long-term relationships with existing customers to maximise repeat business.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed set targets and
objectives.
- Track and report on sales performance, including pipeline management and
forecasting.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and emerging
opportunities in the import and export industry.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve the company’s market position.
- Communicate the value of the company’s logistics solutions to customers effectively.
- Tailor service offerings to meet the unique requirements of individual clients.
- Negotiate terms, prices, and conditions with clients to close deals that are beneficial for both parties.
- Prepare and finalise sales agreements in collaboration with internal teams.
- Liaise with internal logistics teams to ensure smooth shipment handling, delivery
timelines, and customer satisfaction.
- Assist clients in understanding customs regulations, import/export compliance, and
documentation requirements.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide after-sales support, ensuring customers’ logistics needs are consistently met.
- Work closely with the operations team to align sales efforts with operational
capabilities.
- Share market insights and customer feedback with internal departments to improve services.
- Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and technological
advancements.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance sales and logistics
knowledge.
- Maintain accurate and organised records of client interactions, sales activities, and contract details.
- Regularly update the company’s CRM system and generate reports for management
review.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to
enhance brand visibility and secure new leads.
- Address operational challenges or delays with innovative solutions to maintain client
trust and satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage sales budgets, ensuring profitability and cost-efficiency in all
deals.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with business partners, suppliers, and
customers in China to develop opportunities and ensure successful operations.

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Salary Details: £38,700 annually

What We’re Looking For:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in sales or customer relationship management.
- Knowledge of the import and export industry is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Business or a related field.
- Proficiency in speaking and writing in Chinese is preferred.
