Your new company
I am currently working closely with a key Central Government department based in the City of London who are looking to bring in an experienced Azure Engineer to join their Cloud development team providing technical maintenance and support their migration of on-prem services to the new cloud environment.
The Role:
- Type: Contract (3+ months initially)
- Day Rate: £500 - £550 per day inside IR35
- Location: Central London
- Hybrid working (3 days on-site)
Previous or current Public Sector experience is highly desired.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Have a strong knowledge of Microsoft software, such as SharePoint, Teams and Azure
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure as a subject matter expert (SME)
- Day to day operations and maintenance of both public and private cloud environments (VMWare, Azure)
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, etc.)
- Previous working experience as a Cloud and/or Azure Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in Linux and/or Windows server administration, including experience with system automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
