Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Machine Operator to work in their leading facility in Deeside .
For the successful Machine Operator our client is offering:
• £13.23 per hour
• Shift pattern including days, nights and weekends, 12 hours shift 6am-6pm, 6pm-6am – Working an average of 42 hours a week (2 weeks training will be on day shift Monday till Friday 8am-4pm)
• Temp to perm position
• On site parking
The role –Machine Operator :
• To convert large printed rolls of materials into the finished customer specified format, utilizing our in house finishing equipment and working to deadlines
• Basic routine maintenance (including weekly safety and maintenance checks on all equipment)
• Inspection of machinery & rewind to achieve highest possible quality with maximum output and minimum waste
• Maintain a tidy work area at all times
• Operate within Company safety policy at all times
What our client is looking for in a Machine Operator :
• Previous experience of machine operating in a manufacturing environment - ESSENTIAL
• Knowledge of procedures for running machinery -ESSENTIAL
• Good communication skills
• Able to work under own initiative
• The ability to fault find and problem solve
• Good understanding of Health & Safety
