An opportunity has arisen for a band 3 Healthcare Support Worker to join the team on Sophie's Place caring for children and young people in both our outpatients department and acute assessment ward. If you looking for a new challenge we are interested in hearing from you! This is an opportunity to work with children with a range of medical and surgical needs and to learn new clinical skills.
Sophie’s Place is a children's day assessment ward and outpatients service at Hampshire Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (Winchester site) seeing children and young people of all ages.
Within this varied role, you will work along the registered nursing staff to ensure that high quality care is delivered to the children and their families. Excellent communication skills with children and young people are key to successfully engaging with them to assess their care needs.
