Contract: Fixed term contract until 31st August 2025
Grade: TSPT 4, Points 12 – 13
Hours: 27.5 hours, 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset days)
Monday to Friday 09:00-15:00, 30-minute unpaid break
Salary: £15,675 - £15,786 (FTE £23,955 - £24,125)
Start date: ASAP
We are looking for a committed, hard-working, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who can demonstrate good classroom practice to join our experienced team, to work 1:1 with a pupil who needs a high level of support to access the curriculum.
The successful candidate will be confident and willing to work collaboratively, committed and dedicated to improving children’s learning and have good numeracy and literacy skills.
Previous experience of working in a school is essential and a Level 3 or equivalent teaching support qualification, together with knowledge of SEND would be an advantage. All members of staff are offered the opportunity and encouraged to undertake relevant training for their roles.
