Summary

Job Summary: The Lead Women Pastor will provide spiritual leadership, pastoral care, and administrative oversight to the young women, mostly of African descents of Foursquare Gospel Church in London. This role involves preaching, teaching, counselling, and mentoring the young women in the congregation, as well as leading women's ministry programs and events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preaching and Teaching: Deliver sermons and Bible studies that are relevant, inspiring, and biblically sound, with a focus on issues pertinent to women.
• Pastoral Care: Provide counselling, support, and spiritual guidance to women in the congregation, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
• Leadership: Oversee and coordinate all women's ministry activities, including retreats, conferences, and small group studies.
• Mentorship: Develop and implement mentorship programs to support the spiritual growth and development of women in the church.
• Community Engagement: Foster relationships with local organizations and community groups to extend the church's outreach and support to women in the broader community.
• Administrative Duties: Manage budgets, plan events, and coordinate volunteers for women's ministry programs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other church leaders and staff to ensure the integration of women's ministry with the overall mission and vision of the church.
Qualifications:
• A deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to the mission and values of Foursquare Gospel Church.
• Ordained minister with a recognized theological degree.
• Proven experience in pastoral ministry, with a focus on women's ministry.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic, with a heart for serving women.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of church leaders and volunteers.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in counselling and pastoral care.
• Proficiency in event planning and program management.
• Strong public speaking and teaching abilities.
• Knowledge of community resources and services for women.
