As a Technology Application Manager, you'll show demonstrable experience identifying and exploring opportunities for service and business improvements, the ability to collaborate effectively and, create the specification and design of systems to meet defined business needs. You'll be an analytical thinker, methodical, well-organised with a passion for delivering excellence.

You will contribute to our purpose and striving to build a healthier nation through leading the management of high-quality applications to meet the needs of Nuffield Health's customers, beneficiaries, employees, and partners. You'll be responsible for working collaboratively as part of a multi-functional squad / tribe, focused on delivering business outcomes.

As our Technology Application Manager, you will:

  • Take an active part in your community of practice - developing, understanding, and employing the principles of application design, management, and the software development lifecycle

  • Configure robust and accessible applications (user and API) that work for as many customers as possible, regardless of their needs

  • Document and design the data model, user interface, business logic, and security for custom applications (inc. Winpath, Instrument Manager, Cyberlab, RIS, PACS, Medilogik EMS)

  • Responsible for the provision of day-to-day support for applications in their domain, including user support, training and potentially out-of-hours support

  • Participate in support activities related to developed services/solutions, and out-of-hours support

  • Proactively work to ensure that risks are correctly identified and logged on the risk management system and that work is scheduled and prioritised to reduce the number of risks outstanding at any time
