We are looking for a CAD Operator will be working alongside design engineers as you design a variety of 3D plans. Using CAD software you will be designing bespoke units from the ground up, and working alongside the Installation Engineers and workshop teams to ensure the designs are implemented correctly.
Core responsibilities
Design and delivery of new projects during the pre-construction and construction phases.
Creating high quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on supplied designs and make modifications to existing drawings
Use a variety of CAD software including Revit, 2D and 3D models.
Generate layout drawings from PointCloud files.
Provide accurate, detailed and to scale drawings.
Conduct site visits and undertake survey when required.
Skills & Qualifications
Excellent design, technical and software skills.
Product manufacturing for bespoke engineering OR civil engineering would be beneficial.
3-5 years experience in CAD engineering design role.
Ability to produce detailed schematic representations of kitchen, bathrooms, ventilation, electrical and control systems.
Highly competent in AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Revit.
Advantageous to have Inventor, SolidWorks, Solid Edge.
Based on 37.5 hours per week. 9.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday. 30 mins unpaid lunch. Statutory UK holidays.
