Summary
Are you an experienced skilled mechanic looking for a new opportunity in the new year?
Wanting a more central work location?
salary - £30,000 to £35,000 (depending on experience)
Flexible shift pattern - Monday to Friday (between 7am and 6pm)
21 days annual leave plus bank holidays
On-site parking
Duties:
- Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles, oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues - Perform vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs
- Utilise diagnostic tools to identify complex mechanical issues
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair services performed
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role
- Solid understanding of vehicle systems and components
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical individuals
Essential Qualification:
- NVQ Level 2/3
