Edinburgh College of Art is seeking to recruit a part-time Marketing and Recruitment Administrator on a fixed term basis.



The Opportunity:

This role supports part of the Edinburgh College of Art’s (ECA) Engagement and Communications team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, creative and collaborative environment, this is the role for you.

This role is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in Edinburgh College of Art’s marketing and recruitment team. With over 3000 students, 500 teaching and research staff and 59 degree programmes, ECA is one of the largest Schools at The University of Edinburgh.

Within this role your day-to-day tasks vary, you could find yourself:

Supporting an Open Day.
Taking prospective students and their teachers on a tour of our facilities.
Writing communications to offer holders.
Writing a design brief for marketing materials and collateral.
Working on a video project.
Hosting an online information session with prospective postgraduate students.
Writing minutes for a committee meeting.
Editing web content.
Attending a UCAS event in London or Manchester.

Here at ECA we promote an inclusive, fair, respectful, safe and welcoming culture for all. This post is part-time (21 hours per week). Our team works in a hybrid pattern of Monday and Tuesday on site. The salary for this post is £28,879 to £33,232 per annum pro rata.



Your skills and attributes for success:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, at ease when dealing with a variety of audiences from students and parents to senior level academics.
You’ll have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and pro-active approach to seeking out information, accuracy and attentional to detail.
Good IT skills in Microsoft Office, online meeting platforms and database applications.
You’ll have the ability to plan, prioritise, take initiative and find proactive solutions, contribute new ideas to projects, work unsupervised, under pressure and multitask effectively.
Experience of working in the education sector is desirable but not essential.
