Are you looking for an ongoing role where you will complete full time hours? Apply now!
You will undertake the below tasks:
- Handling produce, using knife skills to prepare vegetables there can be separating florets of broccoli/cauliflower, slicing sweet potatoes into wedges, removing the cores from peppers etc.
- Checking, washing and preparing delicate vegetables to the required standards and processes.
- Processing by hand prepared root crop vegetables into bags up to 10kg in weight.
- Inspecting and sorting peeled root crop vegetables to meet customer requirements.
- Packing orders to meet customer requirements, pallet banding/wrapping.
Previous experience in a factory is needed, at least 3 months.
This is ongoing work.
You will work 5 days a week, this will include weekends, please keep that in mind when applying. You will start at 8am and finish when the job is done, this could be 8 to 12 hours per day.
The rate of pay is £11.44 per hour.
