We are currently recruiting for an Air Logistics Customs Care Specialist to join our "One Customs" Setup in the UK to support all administrative activities within the Air Logistics Customs department to enable the servicing of internal or external customs.
The Air Logistics Customs Care Specialist will be working Monday to Friday Days and can be based out of our Heathrow South Cargo Centre sites.
This role will be an initial 18 month Fixed Term Contract
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation and accurate presentation of Import/Export Customs Documentation across a variety of customers
- Mailbox Management - incoming entry requests/other incoming communications
- Tracker Management
- Control / distribution of all relevant documentation via various platforms either internal or external
- Data validity check
- Work within Customer SOPs
- Queries - daily contact with customer counterpart/internal stakeholders to fill data gaps/accuracy/compliance.
- Resolution of Customer queries / issues via various communication methods
- Administer and process all invoicing for the Customs department and ensure they are processed, raised and dispatched in a timely manner.
- Provide monthly customer reporting in accordance with agreed deadlines
- Escalate deviations to SOP to Service Manager
- Field requests for additional services and advise Service Manager
- Highlight repeated issues to Service Manager and escalate issues raised for resolution
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Previous experience working in a similar role in the customs field or similar environment.
- Knowledge of Road Logistics Customs is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
- Excellent Customer service skills
- Flexible and able to work accurately under pressure in a very busy environment.
- You should be a team player with the self-drive to be pro-active and add value in a dynamic and changing organisation.
- Excellent attention to detail and excellent record keeping skills
- Solution oriented
- Proactive approach
