Summary
Our Client, a leading logistics and distribution company committed to providing efficient and reliable service. They are looking for an experienced Forklift Driver with groupage experience to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, etc.) to load/unload and move goods.
Handle groupage (mixed cargo loads) operations, ensuring efficient palletizing and loading.
Organize and manage warehouse stock, optimizing space for multiple shipments.
Safely load/unload lorries, containers, and trailers with mixed cargo.
Assist in picking, packing, and pallet wrapping as needed.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and protocols.
Requirements:
Valid forklift license (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, or other relevant certifications).
Previous experience in groupage operations.
Strong understanding of warehouse management and safety procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Team player with excellent communication skills.

Working hours on a 2 week rota
Week 1: Monday to Friday 0600-1530
Week 2: Monday 1000-2000 Tuesday: 1200 - 2200 Wednesday: 1200 - 2000 Thursday: 1130 - 2000 Friday: 1200 – 2300
Base salary £29k a year.
