Start Date: 6th January 2025 Our school vision:At Holy Trinity we have high expectations and aim to ensure that everyone is loved, inspired, nurtured, and empowered within a caring and inclusive Christian community. We teach our children Christian values and promote positive attitudes to learning to ensure that they have all they need to become lifelong learners who reach their full potential and become good global citizens. We value the contribution of enthusiastic and committed early years practitioners who want to make a difference to children both academically and as all round individuals. Do you believe passionately in the same things our school vision outlines? Are you hard working and able to work effectively as part of a team? If so, then we may have the perfect role for you! We can offer candidates excellent CPD opportunities and a supportive team. This is initially a part time role 8.30am- 1.00pm Monday to Thursday and 12.00pm to 3.30 pm on a Friday. We would anticipate these hours increasing as the nursery grows. Closing date: Friday 13th December, 12 noon Interviews: Monday 16th December Start date: 6th January 2025For further details and information contact Sarah Esperanca in the school office.Applicants who are not notified by the interview date should assume that they have not been short-listed. This position is for a Nursery Practitioner What our staff say about us, “You’re well supported. You’re never on your own. Friendly, supportive team. Training is provided.” We are a large two form entry primary school and are currently looking for Nursery staff to support the set up and run of our brand-new nursery class. The nursery classroom is situated off site at the local village hall, about half a mile down the road from the school. As this is a new nursery we are still in the process of finalising our final pupil numbers so we are still unsure what the exact weekly hours will be. This will be confirmed by the time of the interviews. We are looking for excellent Early Years practitioners who are hard working, competent and enthusiastic. They will help shape the nursery with their expertise; creating a stimulating environment that works for all children. The nursery will follow the Early Years Framework whilst carefully considering the learning of our current reception children. Although not geographically on the same site the nursery and its staff will be very much part of the Holy Trinity team and will receive the same induction, training and resources as other staff. Our school is an excellent training establishment with everything necessary for teachers to develop their professional skills. We offer excellent induction and support through an effective appraisal system. We have high expectations of our pupils and staff all within a supportive environment. Standards of achievement are high, our children are well-behaved, parents are supportive and staff enjoy working at Holy Trinity. We have fantastic school grounds which include an outdoor classroom, school pond, osier bed and willow dome which we hope our nursery class will also get a chance to explore and use. We believe it is an ideal environment for a teaching career. Ofsted May 2022 noted that “Staff feel extremely valued and respected. They are highly positive about the support that they receive to manage their workload and well-being.” In April 2018, Holy Trinity Primary School joined The Alliance Multi-Academy Trust (TAMAT) - a group of seven like-minded, primary schools - which provides opportunities for working together, sharing good practice and professional development. For those interested more information is available on their website. We are committed to looking after our most valuable resources – our staff - working towards an effective work / life balance to bring out the best in our children. If you are interested in joining our happy and thriving school, please complete an application and return to the school. We welcome visits to the school to meet our headteacher – so please do contact us to arrange a short tour. We would also recommend you take a look at our website to find out more information about our school and ethos, and to see our recent Ofsted report.
