You will be supported in your role by the Lead Pharmacy Technician for Medicines Supply, the Pharmacy Business Support/Operations Manager and the wider team and have plenty of opportunities to develop through the varied experience and training provided. The post holder must be able to travel between Trust sites. Our standard working hours are 9am 5pm and there will be a weekend and bank holiday commitment. Informal enquiries are welcomed. Supervise, support and develop dispensary staff, allocate tasks, provide clear direction and feedback to the team, and responding to changing demands/ priorities to ensure medicines are supplied in a timely manner. Escalate any problems with capacity and demand to the specialist pharmacy technician for medicines supply services Perform a range of organisational, logistical and supervisory roles such as managing the dispensary rotas, convening team meetings, overseeing dispensary activities and coordinating medication deliveries. Order, receive and distribute medicines Undertake stock management tasks Dispense medicines Deal with dispensary-related queries Be responsible for the line management of a team of Pharmacy Support Workers Induct, supervise, train and develop other staff working in the dispensary Participate in the weekend and Bank Holiday working on a rotational basis
