Job Description
Based within Financial Services (Audit & Inspection & Corporate Finance) this is a great opportunity to progress from grade 4 to grade 6 as you meet the key milestones of your training programme. You will cover all aspects of financial management and accountancy support within the Council or all aspects of the internal audit service including assurance, fraud prevention / detection and investigations. You will be required to undertake the CIPFA professional accountancy qualification and meet the requirements of the training agreement associated with this. As part of your training programme, you will be placed in either Audit & Inspection or Corporate Finance but may rotate between sections during the training period. Following your progression from Grade 4 to Grade 6 and once qualified you may have an opportunity to progress to Grade 7, if a suitable vacancy exists.
