About the Role As a Streaming Clinician, you will be at the heart of patient care, ensuring individuals who walk into the Emergency Department (ED) at LGI are seamlessly directed to the right clinical pathway. Using the VET (Visualise, Explore, Triage) model, you'll assess and stream patients to appropriate services such as: Minor Illness Service; ED Department; Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC);Or other specialties. Your role is pivotal in recognizing high-risk presentations for patients of all ages, from children to adults. While you wont discharge patients, your skilled assessments will ensure they receive the most suitable care. Tools and Technology You'll work with cutting-edge systems, including: Symphony, the hospital IT system for seamless patient data input SystemOne, connecting you with your clinical colleagues in the Minor Illness Service They will be primarily based at LGI, with occasional opportunities to bring their expertise to other OneMedical Group urgent care sites as needed, subject to prior approval.
