Summary of Post The post holder will inform and support the delivery of the strategic direction and overall provision and management of Emergency Care within the acute setting, providing professional leadership to all nursing and AHP staff at all levels within their responsibility ensuring the delivery of consistently high standards of care. The post holder will collaborate with both clinical and non-clinical leads to support and deliver safe and effective care delivery which contributes to the achievement of the national and local quality and clinical performance indicators. The post holder will be a registered practitioner who will act as an expert credible leader for the delivery of a user-centred, evidence based Emergency Care aligned to national best practice. The post holder will be responsible for Ward 16 (Short Stay Medical Unit), EADU (Emergency Admissions and Discharge Unit), Ambulatory Unit, and the Diabetes Specialist Nurse team.
