Soft Fruit Workers
Southesk Farms
We have seasonal opportunities for responsible and motivated people to join our Soft Fruit enterprise. Work will involve harvesting soft fruit (tabletop strawberries/blueberries) with other husbandry jobs including weeding, cleaning/moving plants, carrying bags etc. There might also be some tree planting and harvesting.
Tasks are paid at NLW in accordance with the Scottish Agricultural Wages Board with the possibility of performance related bonus pay.
Work will be outdoors and under tunnels in all weathers with early morning starts.
Applicants must be hard working, motivated and enthusiastic, physically fit and have a good level of dexterity and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a culturally diverse team are essential.
Applicants must be over 18, and able to prove their right to work in the UK. Own transport is essential due to the location of the business.
Small number of vacancies in January. Vacancies from March to November. Closing date for applications 1st March 2025.
