Quality Manager
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining AS9100 certification, managing the company's Quality Management System, and overseeing internal and external audits. The Quality Manager will also focus on continuous improvement to ensure the cost of poor quality is driven down and ensure constant improvements where possible in terms of quality delivered to customers
Responsibilities for Quality Manager
- Maintain AS9100 certification
- Manage the company's Quality Management System
- Host internal and external audits
- Conduct Quality awareness sessions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead the inspection team
- Investigate non-conformances and report findings
- Present Quality KPIs to the Senior Management team
- Mentor team members in process improvements
- Utilize Six Sigma Quality tools
Qualifications and Experience for Quality Manager
- HND in manufacturing or equivalent experience
- AS9100 qualified auditor (internal or external)
- Previous experience as a Quality Manager in a similar role
- Detailed knowledge of AS9100
- Conversant with Six Sigma Quality tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional demeanor in customer interactions
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Focus on detail and continuous improvement
