JOB DESCRIPTION

Part-time Personal Assistants

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a lady in my 30’s living in the Mountain Ash area with my husband. I have neurological disorders. I would like a PA to help me regain/rebuild my confidence, promote wellbeing and help me regain my independence and provide me with social interaction. I live on a hill and I also have a foldable scooter.

PURPOSE OF JOB

I am looking for a Personal Assistants to access the community and with managing household tasks.

HOURS OF WORK

14 hours per week to be shared between 2 PA's

RATES OF PAY

£12.00 per hour

Double time on bank holidays

TASKS INVOLVED

Ensure that all my needs are met
Ensure I am safe at all times
Support me to access the community
Support me around the home and with household tasks
Provide companionship

TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

Friendly and outgoing
Reliable and punctual
Considerate, caring and trustworthy
Flexibility is an important aspect of this job
Knowledge with neurological disorders either on a personal or professional basis
Car Driver/Access to a car to transport employer with business class insurance & happy to put my foldable scooter in your car
Someone with a mature nature



ABOUT THE JOB



Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly and appropriate holiday pay given.

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).

The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
