Serving over 158,000 citizens in the heart of Scotland – Falkirk Council has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic IT professional to join the Network and Infrastructure team.

As part of this team of ICT professionals you will provide support in the following areas:

  • Enterprise Telephony, including the migration of analogue systems to digital and the support of our One Cloud Cisco Voice over IP (VoIP) system.
  • Enterprise Network – basic configuration of network equipment to support telephony.
  • ICT Network infrastructure – assisting with the design, installation and maintenance of structured IT cabling and providing day to day support for customers including fault finding and providing fixes.
  • Video Conferencing – assisting with the purchase, installation and maintenance of our Microsoft Teams Rooms environment which provides audio, video and collaboration services.

We are looking for a dynamic and pragmatic individual with experience in technology who can provide real hands-on support for our internal customers. You should be practical and capable with technology, tools and equipment and should be mobile throughout the Falkirk Council area.
