KHURSHID DRINKS LTD is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented “Kitchen Manager” to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure efficient stock management, and maintain our high standards of quality and sustainability. The Kitchen Manager will play a vital role in ensuring that our store runs smoothly by managing inventory, preparing fresh food items, and supporting our team in delivering an exceptional experience for our customers.

Main duties include:

• Receive deliveries, count and sort stock accurately, conduct weekly stock counts using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method, monitor stock levels, track usage patterns, place purchase orders, and promptly remove expired products.
• Bake pastries and prepare menu items according to company recipes and guidelines, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organised kitchen workspace, adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, and ensure all kitchen equipment is in proper working order, reporting maintenance needs as necessary.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff on food preparation, hygiene, and stock management practices while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Step into various roles as needed during busy periods to support the team and ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, waste, and purchase orders, providing regular updates to the store manager on kitchen performance and stock status.


Skills and Education:

• Proven experience in kitchen management, food preparation, or a related role.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of stock management practices, including FIFO and inventory tracking.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
• Ability to bake and prepare food items according to company recipes.
• Passion for sustainability and commitment to supporting Black Sheep Coffee’s ethical standards.
