A Nursery Assistant, works in a childcare facility to create a safe, educational and fun environment for young children.
Duties include helping develop a positive curriculum, ensuring safety in the facility and interacting with young children.
*Planning and supervising fun and educational activities
*Managing a daily schedule that includes activities, toilet breaks, lunch and rest time
*Observing children and taking notes of any problematic behaviour
*Feeding and changing babies
*Communicating with parents and staff members
*Ensuring the safety of children
*Helping children learn numeracy and language through daily activities
There is an opportunity for the nurseries to take candidates on, permanently if you did wish to commit long-term to this role!
If you have previous childcare experience and are looking for flexible working, with a friendly team of practitioners this is the perfect role for you!
****For all of our temp roles we require our candidates to have a full enhanced clear DBS Check on the update service- we can process this on your behalf if you do not currently have a DBS****
