The role:
As a Junior Content Producer , you will be based both on our Headington Campus and from home, reporting directly to the Creative Manager. This role involves creating outstanding digital and video content, in line with Oxford Brookes University’s brand identity.
You will work as part of a busy, creative team and have responsibility for ideating, planning, capturing and editing a whole range of exciting content to showcase and support University life and our brilliant academic programmes.
About the team
The Marketing, Recruitment, and Engagement Directorate at Oxford Brookes University brings together all marketing, communications, recruitment, and engagement activities. The team is ambitious and driven, applying their expertise to make a measurable impact on the university’s objectives, the experience of prospective students, current students, staff, and alumni.
What will I be doing?
● Responding creatively to briefs from around the University
● Conceptualising, planning and story-boarding content
● Creating bespoke assets (gifs, animations, videos) for use on web and social media channels.
● Producing and repurposing short-form content for digital channels
● Assessing content performance and creating reports
● Attending University events to capture and publish social media content
● Working in small project teams to deliver on creative and content projects
Which skills do I need?
● Use of DSLR cameras, mobile phones for video and sound capture
● Adobe After Effects CC or similar Motion Graphics based software
● Content creation for social media
● Editing skills, using Adobe Premiere Pro CC or similar software
● Working to deadlines
● Good written and verbal communication skills
● The ability to work independently and as part of a team

About the location
Based at our Headington campus, you’ll experience the vibrant campus atmosphere and benefit from our modern office environment. The campus is one mile from the centre of Oxford and is served by regular public transport. This role will be hybrid and we expect there will be a requirement to be on campus 1-2 days on campus per week.
