Connect Appointments are seeking an individual to become a Waste Operative/Bailer with our Gateshead based client located within The Metro Centre.
What's on offer? This job is 60 to 70 hours per week, paid weekly at £12.77 per hour. Working 12 hours per day across 6 days - with two shifts available:
- Early Shift: 06:00 to 16:30 (Monday to Sunday)
- Day Shift: 12:00 to 22:30 (Monday to Thursday), 08:00 to 18:30 (Sunday)
Working as a Waste Operative/Bailer, your role will be very manual: ensuring that wheeled bins are emptied and that the yard is kept clean; plus, loading cardboard into a baler. Steel toe cap boots are required for this role.
Please Note - This role involves working outdoors.
To be successful you'll need to have a UK driver's license, as this role will involve the towing of a trailer and possibly driving a small electric vehicle pulling trailers.
