Exciting Opportunity for Senior Quantity Surveyor!
Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor (Tier 1)
Location: East Anglia (Norwich & Ipswich)
Salary & Package: Leading For The Region
The Role:
As the Senior Surveyor, you will be responsible for the overall commercial strategies, managing commercial functions and overseeing contract reporting. You will have 2 stage project experience within the DFE, Leisure and Healthcare sector.
Duties:
- Exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery
- Working alongside the project delivery team, to ensure the contractual control and cost management of projects across different sectors
- Managing the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement
- Being involved with the final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome.
- Manage the project commercial team
Requirements:
- Regional / National contractor experience as the Senior Surveyor
- Experience on projects ranging between £10m to £30m
- Based in East Anglia (Norwich, Ipswich, Thetford, Bury St Edmunds)
- Previous experience managing Quantity Surveyors on large contracts
- Experience working under JCT & NEC form of contracts
