Open Ended Contract - Permanent.
Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week.
The Opportunity:
Working within the Edinburgh Futures Institute professional services team, the post holder will provide administrative support to the EFI research team and academics affiliated with EFI. This includes support for projects and events organisation, financial processing, dealing with enquiries and triaging emails, updating our webpages and intranet, and database administration.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week). We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working. The start date is expected to be 23rd February 2025.
The salary for this post is £28,879 to £33,232 per annum.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to independently plan and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines and to undertake and complete small (new) projects
A confident, pro-active customer-focused approach to work and using initiative to propose solutions or improvements as and when needed.
A high standard of numeracy and excellent attention to detail with experience of handling confidential information;
Experience in supporting financial administration to ensure that programme/event budgets are adhered to and used appropriately.
