Job responsibilities Please refer to the full Job Description and Person specification attached to this advert which will provide further information on this role Experience You will be an experienced Occupational therapist with a range of post graduate experience relevant to this role which can include working in relevant community and physical health or education settings as well as mental health. You will have had experience working with complexity and across organisational boundaries to deliver tailored collaborative outcomes that support the persons journey. You will be a confident communicator both producing accurate and informative reports and verbally communicating the occupational therapy perspective in a variety of settings. Essential HCPC registered occupational therapist Highly developed specialist knowledge, underpinned by theory and experience Professional knowledge acquired through degree supplemented by further training, short specialist courses, to masters equivalent level Knowledge and skills Advanced occupational therapy skills drawing and contributing to the evidence base, and used recognised models of practice. Skills working with complexity in both physical mental health and autism and Learning Disabilities. Skilled communication skills and the ability to rapidly adapt communication styles to meet individual needs. Skills to embrace new knowledge and work within a cycle of continuous improvement. Ability to lead a team and represent Occupational therapy and allied health professional colleagues within the unit and across the wider Trust.
