The Role:

Employee Relations Adviser x2

We are a leading university on the south coast and have a great opportunity for a hands-on Employee Relations Adviser (x2) to join our team.

Our HR environment is all you would expect from a large, progressive employer: a friendly, supportive team; excellent salary, hybrid working, on-site parking and modern, refurbished offices (along with a terrific range of lifestyle savings in hundreds of high street vendors). We give a lot.

You will have experience of successfully managing a wide variety of casework and experience of applying HR practice and policy in a large, complex organisation. A hands-on role taking ownership of the range of cases you might expect, including but not limited to attendance management and health, grievance, discipline and performance management. Of course, you will have built in resilience but of equal importance you will need to be comfortable liaising with our senior managers and be adept at influencing and coaching and quickly establishing well-earned credibility.

If you would like to discuss the role informally, please contact Melissa Elsey via email Melissa.elsey@port.ac.uk who will arrange a call.

Location

Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role.
