Summary

Electrical Mobile Engineer – FM Service Provider - Commercial Buildings – Hertfordshire – Up to £45,900 + Package

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance across a commercial contract with sites around Hertfordshire.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This position would be ideal for an Electrical Mobile Engineer currently in a similar position. In return, the company are offering a salary of up to £45,900 with a potential route into further career progression.

Hours of work

- Monday- Friday 08:00-17:00

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
- Emergency lighting tests
- Control Panels
- Changing Ballast
- BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
- Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
- Maintain and update Log books
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
- Compliance and logbooks
- CAFM systems (elogs and Webquote used onsite)
- Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
- Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
- Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
- Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
- Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
- Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
- Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.

Requirements

- Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3
- City & Guilds - 18th Edition
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled
- Good communication skills
- Client Facing

- In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles and systems

- Previous experience of performing a Building Services Engineer role
- Must be able to work unsupervised to a high quality
