To support the Healthy Family Team in delivering universal health services to the 0-19 year population, alongside managing incoming and outgoing information via the telephone system and utilising SystmOne for recording information, whilst supporting a skill mix team.



An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic Public Health Practitioner, to join our Advice Line Team within the Integrated Healthy Families Team within the Ashfield Locality. This will be delivered in line with the National and Local guidelines and public health priorities.

You will work as part of the Healthy Family Team in delivering universal health services to the 0-19 year population and will take responsibility for the daily information flow via the telephone, including CHAT Health, PARENTLINE and RECAP within the Advice Line Team.

You will have responsibility for the smooth transition of information from families and others to the District Healthy Family Teams.

You will be responsible for delivery of Managerial supervision for Band 4 practitioners in Advice Line Team.

The team will be working proactively using a partnership approach to promote health and contribute to tackling health inequalities within the level of competencies required for the post.

A key aspect of the role is to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service as required.
