By joining COPFS’ National Enquiry Point (NEP) team as an Operator, you will be responsible for handling phone enquiries from the public and our service users. You will have the opportunity to positively impact society as you engage with witnesses, victims, accused, bereaved family members, Police Officers and Medical and Legal Professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop within COPFS, as you learn all about Scotland’s Justice System and apply this knowledge to your work every day. You can expect to learn the legal terminology and day-to-day running’s of each department within COPFS as you provide procedural advice and guidance over the phone to a variety of stakeholders and service users.

The managers within NEP work to foster a sense of comradery and support within the team, encouraging learning and development and always providing help when needed. With both part time and full-time positions available, this role will suit anyone who has an interest in a career within the justice system, or a desire to help others and give something back to the community.
