Overview:
EPM Solutions are actively looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to compliment our existing technical support team, based here at our offices in Paisley.
Range of duties will be diverse, as is our customer base and the sectors we work in.
This is a predominantly an office-based role, with some travel to sites required (UK wide) as determined by our workload.
This is a real opportunity for someone at the early stage of their career to learn, grow and develop within an engineering environment, working with experienced engineers and engaging with our blue-chip customer base.
Medium to longer term objectives for this role would include working towards achieving an increased responsibility and ownership of workload within the business.
The opportunity to forge a career path in engineering should be a target for the successful candidate.

Role:
Working within our technical support team, your role will initially include (but not necessarily be limited to) the following:
Data entry (Excel & Access databases),
Developing asset registers,
Updating drawings (AutoCAD),
Supporting/administering customer CMMS software systems,
Maintenance planning,
Research and development of maintenance regimes,
Technical document review,
Liaising with asset tag suppliers,
Visiting customers sites for asset survey and asset tagging purposes,
General administration duties relating to projects.
The successful candidate will be managed/mentored through all aspects of their workload.
On-the-job training and support will be provided for all items detailed above.
Essential skills & attributes include:
Presentable, customer facing and willing to show initiative,
An interest in engineering or a technical subject,
Microsoft Excel and Word familiarity and experience,
A basic knowledge of Technical Drawing/Computer Aided Draughting [AutoCAD] (additional training can be given),
A current driving licence (or actively working towards).
Desirable skills & attributes:
Technical qualifications (either high school level or further education),
Previous engineering environment experience,
Previous CAD Technician employment experience.
